Cafe Manager 141111 - Full Time Position 

We are looking for a Cafe Manager to join our team in the remote town of Kununurra in the Kimberley Region of WA.

The cafe is situated inside Kimberleyland Waterfront Holiday Park that has a peak season between April and September. The Manager will report to the Caravan Park Directors and be responsible for managing the cafe.  

Business services managing the cafe.

The cafe manager will be responsible for:

-Maintaining a safe work environment

-Operating cafe to a high standard of food and beverage service

- Developing and planning menus together with the pastry cook and short order cook

-managing/supervising Up to 7 staff

- working with the Directors to recruit, select and train cafe staff 

- managing customer feedback including complaints 
-Ordering supplies, pricing of goods 

-Cash and eftpos handling and reconciliations

-Liaising with the local health authority and management to maintain food safety standards and licencing

-Short Order cooking where necessary
-Barista/coffee making where necessary 

-Occasionally assisting in other roles around the caravan park.

Position will require 35-40 hours per week including Saturday and Sunday Shifts. Cafe is open from 6am to (1100-1330) Daily, opening times may vary according to time of year. Candidates will need previous experience in a similar role including barista experience. Qualifications in Food and Beverage or Hospitality management with a minimum advanced diploma is required. It is a requirement that evidence of this minimum qualification and relevant workplace experience is provided upon application. Must be willing to relocate to Kununurra. 

Full time salary $70,000 plus superannuation
